Former team captain Sho Yamanobe showed up to practice the other day to kick and punch with the students plus... to introduce his new bride Hitoki!

Seems only yesterday instead of 4-5 years ago I was at the High School Nationals in Wakayama coaching the girl's team with Sho's support and we ate sweet umeboshi...

和歌山での高校選抜大会で、ショウのサポートを得ながら女子チームの監督をし、甘い梅干しを食べたのは、４、５年前になるんだね、まるで昨日のことのよう。。。

Big Paul opens a full-time dojo! ビッグ・ポールのプロ道場がオープン！

Shiramizu Karate Internship graduate (2006-2007) Paul Atkin of Kelowna, BC Canada has opened a full-time karate dojo from this month!

His club, Kelowna Karate (JKA Shotokan), was originally started by his father and for several decades it has offered various karate programs through community centers and rented halls.

Now that the club has a dedicated training space, friends of Paul should feel free to send him a warm message via the club's Facebook page!

白水修養会の外国研修生の卒業生ポール・アトキン君が今月、カナダのブリティッシュコロンビア州ケロウナ市にプロの空手道場「ケロウナ空手」をオープンさせました！流派は松濤館流です。

「ケロウナ空手」は数十年前にポールのお父さんが設立し、コミュニティセンターや間借りしたホールなどで去年まで様々な空手プログラムを提供していました。

24th International Seminar of Budo Culture 第24回国際武道文化セミナー

The Nippon Budokan website now has registration information for this year's Budo Seminar.

The dates are Friday, March 9 to Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Nippon Budogakuen training center in Chiba.

場所は日本武道館研修センターで３月9日から12日に行われます。
