Tokyo High School League Fall Tournament!

On October 31 the Tokyo High School Karate Federation's Fall tournament for individual events was held at Seiritsu. The team events were held at Hozen High School on Wednesday, November 3, which was a national holiday called Culture Day. The top 2 athletes go onto the Kanto tournament in January, which is the qualifier for the High School Nationals in March.

The student's are still getting use to the new rules with no touching the face guards.

A wonderful tournament banner done in an avant garde Japanese calligraphy style by Seiritsu's master calligraphy teacher, Maruo Sensei!
